As some of you know I have been extremely intrigued by the World Heritage Grimeton radio station in southern Sweden. The station operates using an Alexanderson Alternator, which is how early transmissions were conducted in the pre-electronic age. Transmissions are at a frequency of 17.2 kHz, i.e. in the VLF range.
Each year the station holds two open houses where the station is operated. One is at Christmas and a Christmas message is transmitted. I thought it fitting to share this year's recorded live stream from the event.
