World WEFAX Schedules

Sometimes it's fun to use FLDIGI digital package to see WEFAX weather maps from round the world.

Standard config for FLDIGI, but instead of choosing a ham digital mode, select WEFAX.

Set the receiver to USB-DATA and tune a station. Where to find? An up-to-date selection of world stations is at:
https://www.weather.gov/media/marine/rfax.pdf


For example, here's the start of NOAA's Eastern Atlantic chart. See the outline of Europe, Med, N Africa and the weather:

Also sent are satellite photos of cloud cover and forecasts. How to choose the frequency? Try them all, but first try ones near Ham bands that are currently open for that QTH.
