Ionospheric propagation is influenced by solar radiation (I knew that), so when that radiation gets blocked by the moon, what happens?

Odd things, it turns out, and some not too well described. The folks at HamSCI (Scranton U) have a fine web page of HamSCI's involvement (including you?) and a frequently updated collection of articles.
HamSCI is at https://hamsci.org/

There is also a discussion on QRZ at https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?thread ... ir.902327/

Maybe HamSCI should be more active in schools and colleges round this part of the world too? How to do?

How are we contributing to understanding this eclipse? Science Museum, Ham Club?

NASA Wallops Island (N Virginia) will be sending atmospheric sound rockets to build on the knowledge so far: https://science.nasa.gov/solar-system/s ... es-shadow/

The launch schedule -in case you want to see a launch, is at https://sites.wff.nasa.gov/code810/futuremissions.html
