And thank you for a reminder gleaned from a recent QSO, that even the best ferrite is lossy but gives increased bandwidth. So if you are making a balun for a just a single band, maybe consider an air-cored solution instead? They are simple and efficient, have no ferrite heat to dissipate, and there are lots online designs and commercial products to choose from. Summary Guide to Ferrite Mix by Frequency.
