AM Radio Stations, frequencies, etc. - Eclipse Effect

Years ago when we listened to AM radio stations, we could hear quite a few stations during the darkness hours.

In my opinion on Monday, April 8, 2024 we should be able to hear some of the AM Radio stations in the list I have attached. In the list I have included the mid eclipse time both in UT (universal tme) and local time.

The stations that are in bold type are the strongest stations as far as wattage is concerned.

Give it a try and try to determine if you can hear any of the AM radio stations during their mid-eclipse time.

Open the .pdf attachment and print it. I have formatted it to print properly.

Best regards,
Larry

Well, we enjoyed a fine day out at Powhatan State Park, and the clouds kept away for most of the eclipse.

And yes!!! We heard Cleveland on 1100 AM for just a few minutes on a small portable. It lasted about a minute longer on a better car radio.

Thank you Larry!
