DigiRig and Xiegu G90 - setup and operation.

Find some links here that i found while setting up my Xiegu G90 with the DigiRig interface and cable.
First a moment to say that the Xiegu G90 https://www.eham.net/reviews/view-product?id=14255 is a very popular portable HF SDR Transceiver and DigiRig https://digirig.net/ is a tiny digital interface for it, and other portable rigs.
First I set up my G90 for sideband, operating at a scorching 9W into a Chameleon 3 Loop in a Virginia parking lot. After i got a Parks on the Air confirmed contact with M0TTQ (SigRep 54) in Hampshire, UK, I figured that this should be a fun setup to try with digital modes too.
There are some useful setup links, easily found, such as:
Other things learned for this Ubuntu - AMD Ryzen 9 setup: It like the WSJTX Audio tab to be set to go directly to the DigiRig serial device on /dev/ttyUSB0 rather than my first try with pulse. Pulse is tolerated, but seems to cause a big slowdown; most advice seems to be not to use it.
(If you like code tinkering, use a Ryzen 9 machine for blistering speed, but at the cost of a little extra troubleshooting. Otherwise know that most code is compiled against less "bleeding-edge" hardware, and probably will save much frustration. So why did I do it? I brought the G90 home to the Shack and that's what I usually use at home. Next post to include a more usual computing-iron.)

Youtube -just go to YoutTube and enter a search. -Just so many videos.

So you can see that CAT and PTT both pass muster, but did you notice 2 Stop bits and RTS Low and that only 19200 works?
